  • Private Dorm vs Public Dorm         

For an extra $2000 a semester, would you rather live in a private dorm or stick with the traditional public dorm for your freshman year? What's the difference anyways? Is the food better?

To me, a dorm is a dorm. It won't be any different until you move out to apartment or condo. The food might be better, the facility might be better. It's up to you. if you have an extra$2000 to spend.
