You most likely need need an accounting degree from an above average college, and graudate with grades of > 3.3 overall and in accounting.



The better your GPA, the better your chances as far as getting your foot in the door or landing you more interview. Once you are in, there are plenty to learn and places for you to climb up the ladder.
